The final match in the C Grade interclub did not go their way. Stuart Northway was the only success winning; 1 up on the last hole. Stuart’s skilful bunker shot allowed him a tap-in par. Well done Stuart. All other players went down. Thanks to Leon Radunz, Glenn Antill, Tony Hall, Ross Barnes, Mark Browning, Robert Teasdale, Keith Fraser, Stuart Northway and John Young for giving up their weekends to represent Tamborine Golf Club.

Sanctuary Cove V Tamborine Mountain

A tough day in someone else’s office today. Still 4/2 against is not a disaster. We won the toss, batted first and ground out a tough bunch of matches. Good wins to Owen 4/2 and Trevor 1 up. The rest of the squad battled bravely. Flat lies how do you play on flat lies!
B Grade
We came second 6 matches to Nil. It’s so much more fun when we win, but I really hope that those who have put their hands up to represent the club appreciate the opportunity to play some of the beautiful courses we get to play, as well as having others enjoy ours. Graham Nipperess 5 & 4, Dion McRae 4 & 3, Bruce Brown 5 & 4, Jimmy Dunn 5 & 4, Kerry Whear 7 & 6 and Jason Beaver 5 & 4.

Tamborine Mountain V Emerald Lakes
A Grade
A fantastic result today with a 5.5 to .5 victory over Emerald Lakes.

This win will put us in the box seat for a finals berth however good results in our final 2 away matches will still be needed.

A difficult day for B Grade today, losing 3.5 to 2.5 to Emerald Lakes.

Same time, same place next week v Gainsborough Greens.

Graham Nipperess was disappointed with his 8 & 7 win because he only got to play 11 holes. Well done Boof. Jimmy won 4 & 3, Brian won 4 & 2, Terry won 2 & 1 as did Kerry. Jason came from behind to win 2.& 1.
C Grade
Today, the team were successful against Sanctuary Cove; winning 4 1/2 to 1 1/2. Robert Teasdale and Ross Barnes had the easiest run home because two of the Sanctuary Cove players forfeited. Stuart Northway (7 & 6) and John Young (2 & 1) added to the winners’ list and Tony Hall halved his match. Good doing! In spite of the forfeits taking the shine off it, a win is a win.

Emerald Lakes V Tamborine Mountain

A very close match today saw us just go down 3.5 v 2.5 – a good result in an away match.Very good wins to Richard and Darren and a hard fought half to Mitch while Owen, Trevor and Tony just failed to get the job done.
